ThanksUSA friend and world-renowned Tenor, Anthony Kearns, will be the featured performer at two events honoring Memorial Day. Earlier this year, Anthony performed at a special post-St. Patrick’s Day celebration for ThanksUSA in McLean, VA.
This Sunday, May 30, 2 PM, Anthony Kearns will perform at the National Memorial Day Choral Festival at the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts in Washington, D.C. Anthony will sing with piano accompaniment as a part of his featured performance, leading up to the grand finale with a chamber orchestra and seven choirs. Together they will sing en masse as a 183-voice choir under the direction of conductor Scott Buchanan. Tickets for this amazing performance are only $10 and can be purchased here.
During the National Memorial Day Parade, Anthony Kearns will sing Amazing Grace a capella during The National Moment of Remembrance, scheduled for Monday, May 31, at 3 PM, in Washington D.C. The parade will be televised, so if you cannot attend in person, you can still watch Anthony’s moving tribute on the Military Channel, the Pentagon Channel, American Life Network, or (local) News Channel 8. You can even view the Parade via live streaming video compliments of Military.com. General Peter Pace will serve as Grand Marshal accompanied by Honorary Marshals Gary Sinise and Joe Mantegna.
